About Dr. Santos

Board-certified in both internal medicine and pediatrics, Dr. Santos combines the personal attention of the traditional small-town doctor with an evidence-based approach to modern medicine. He focuses on preventing illness and maintaining your good health.

Dr. Santos received an undergraduate degree, with honors, from Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, New Jersey. He went on to study medicine at Rutgers New Jersey Medical school in Newark, where he received the Arnold P. Gold Foundation Humanism Award and the Dean Brown Award for significant student contributions to the school. He continued on at Rutgers for his residency in internal medicine and pediatrics and was further honored to receive the Golden Apple Award for excellence in teaching.

Dr. Santos is affiliated with the Chilton Medical Center, located in Pompton Plains, New Jersey, part of the Atlantic Health System. He also has an academic appointment as clinical preceptor at New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York.

His calming demeanor, even in an emergency, puts patients’ minds at ease and is why he received both the “Physician We Admire Award” and the “New Jersey’s Favorite Kids’ Doc” distinction. Dr. Santos is responsive to your questions and takes the time to explain what’s happening during an appointment. He speaks Tagalog and Spanish.
